And I don’t even own it! Just up the road from where I live (walking distance in fact) is a vintage importing business that I came across via Ebay. It is called Fossil Vintage and it is truly vintage heaven.
This warehouse is full of multiples of fabulous things. It is open to the public, but frequented by restaurants and cafes and businesses that need bulk quantities of quirky things.
For example, these big wooden french cheese or bread boards are imported regularly (the next lot due early May 2014). They come in a rectangular or round shape in various sizes and quality, for the fixed price of $80 at the shop.
My sister bought one to give to her sister-in-law for her birthday. When she brought it home she washed it thoroughly (just doing this made a HUGE difference), gave it a light sand and a wax, and it came up beautifully.
I want one too! Maybe she’ll buy me one for my birthday?
