Ali and Trish had already sourced the wooden necklaces and the chains.  I just added the decoration.

I used gel medium to stick images from magazines and books to the discs.  Then I waited 24 hours (aagh … I find it SOO hard to wait) and then rubbed the layers of paper off, leaving the last layer on the timber.  So it leaves a reverse image.  It’s pretty clever that gel medium stuff!

  
Then added a varnish and finally waxed the discs back and front before adding the jump rings and hanging them on the chains.

I think they worked out okay.
