Week 2. Look, I MADE something.
How super and ace and cool is this jug?
I know, I’m prouder than I probably should be …
There’s heaps wrong with it.
In saying this my goal is ‘organic forms’. I am not in to perfection. So wonkiness is good!
My aim … To make a million presents for people (and family, I am very much talking about Christmas presents here) in the six weeks of the course. I’ve got another two weeks of potting. Then a couple of weeks to learn glazing I think (can’t wait for that!).
So … who thinks they might like an organic (wonky) jug? With (hopefully) a super cool glaze …
Looking great!! I love pottery…I took a class years ago. So therapeutic!

How wonderful. I’m sure you’ll have plenty of happy recipients of these lovely ‘wonky’ pieces. Enjoy the rest of your course.

Oh it’s lovely, and what a great gift – something useful AND handmade. I’d love to do a pottery course. The glazing will be fun! Enjoy it & embrace the ‘wabi-sabi’ ๐
