pottery-ing along

Week 2.  Look, I MADE something.

How super and ace and cool is this jug?

I know, I’m prouder than I probably should be …

There’s heaps wrong with it.

In saying this my goal is ‘organic forms’.  I am not in to perfection.   So wonkiness is good!

My aim … To make a million presents for people (and family, I am very much talking about Christmas presents here) in the six weeks of the course.  I’ve got another two weeks of potting.  Then a couple of weeks to learn glazing  I think (can’t wait for that!).

So … who thinks they might like an organic (wonky) jug?  With (hopefully) a super cool glaze …

  2. Oh it’s lovely, and what a great gift – something useful AND handmade. I’d love to do a pottery course. The glazing will be fun! Enjoy it & embrace the ‘wabi-sabi’ ๐Ÿ™‚
