The view from the tent, down our own private track (past the boat houses and the totem tennis) directly to the beach. And the sandbanks. And the nice warm bay water …
So, we’re up to week 3 and the holiday has relocated. Hello caravans, hello tent (my home this week). Hello Rosebud foreshore. It’s great to be on the Mornington Peninsula again!
And a shared crafty project has landed in my lap. Elise bought a bag of home spun wool (still full of lanolin) at the op shop for $5 for the lot when she was at Port Fairy last week. What a bargain. Having spun my own wool I truly appreciate the work that has gone in to these balls. And she bought some nice fat needles at the same time. Perfect.
And so project cushion knitting has begun. The new knitted cushions are going to look just super on Elise’s brown leather couch. What a great beach camping holiday activity. It’s going to be a happy week. I can just tell.

Our beach. Our sandbank. Our umbrella. Love. Love.
What a beautiful spot…. Enjoy knitting in the sun😌
