So, Elise bought these Country Road placemats at Savers.

Good spotting.

She has set the table with a mix of old and new, boring and interesting. Her vintage salt and pepper shakers add a bit of character, and Nanna’s lovely silver always cheers up the table (I am always very jealous that she had the foresight to ask for the silver).

And the rest is just every day Maxwell Williams plates and IKEA wine glasses. I do like her chopping board.  It is a lovely colour and shape – I think Nick bought it in Tasmania?

Anyway, it all look super with her black and white checked vinyl tile floors, the lovely old bentwood chairs at her dining table, and the table itself (another IKEA special – it extends).
