Merryn was going to crochet me a new pair of fingerless gloves for my birthday. But she hasn’t quite finished yet. So instead she bought me an old fruit picking basket.

I do love these metal crates.

I am using the one Merryn gave me as an outdoor pot plant holder. I have put four ‘pots of colour’ in there. This basket is an ideal holder as now I can move the plants around, into the sun or the shade and into or out of the rain as necessary.
