Yesterday in the playground after school I was talking to Trish, and Fleur came along, looking gorgeous as usual. She’s had 4 kids and I don’t know how she does it. Well she did give me a clue. I recall our conversation once where she expounded on how much she loves the gym. I think this might be the key to bouncing back … hmm … not really rocket science … but very good for me to note … again. Yes, I should go to the gym.
Anyway, we started discussing shoes. I admired hers. And she explained that she ‘organises’ a Mother’s Day present that takes the form of shoes from the shop Cinori in Clifton Hill every year. And as I have a bit of a shoe fetish, and this fetish used to centre around the Wonders brand that Cinori imports from Portugal, the conversation carried on.
We then moved on to her jeans, I liked the zips, and she told us that she bought them on Ebay for $5, and then couldn’t resist mentioning that her jacket came from the op shop in preparation for going to the snow (last weekend). What a great find. $5 again. It is from lululemon (originally). It has a micro-polar fleece lining. Perfect for the snow. As Trish noted, it would have cost a couple of hundred bucks new. Good work Fleur!
Anyway, as I hadn’t done a post for today, I whipped out my phone and took a few snaps.
Nice shoes huh? Great jeans – I really want some with zips! Excellent jacket. An outfit for $10 – if you don’t count the Mother’s Day spend … but you don’t have to, because that’s a present. Pretty good!
