Oh my goodness, it has been so cold.  I have added a blanket to every bed in the house.

And, I just thought I would share with you the lovely crocheted blanket that now lives in my lounge room.

I  find it hard to walk past handcrafts, and this one is a goody.

I leave it folded on the back of the armchair during the day (it deters the cat from scratching the chair on her way inside – a very bad habit that this blanket has broken) and I use it at night when I am watching telly.

And sometimes the kids use it if they are feeling a bit cold … or have a cold (like poor little Jemima).
